Human rights policy

Acting with Integrity

At MercuryFlooring, we are committed to conducting business with honesty, fairness, and respect. Our ethics policy outlines the principles that guide our decisions and behavior across all levels of the organization.

1. Fair Business Practices

We treat customers, suppliers, and competitors fairly. We do not seek unfair advantage through manipulation, concealment, misuse of privileged information, misrepresentation of material facts, or any other unfair practices.

2. Product Compliance and Safety

All MercuryFlooring products are manufactured in accordance with relevant specifications and quality standards. We ensure that our products are safe, compliant, and reliable.

3. Customer Relations

We treat our customers with respect and dignity, and we only make promises we can keep. Customer satisfaction is key to our success, and we strive to earn their loyalty every day.

4. Marketing Practices

Our marketing is truthful and accurate. We do not engage in deceptive practices, false advertising, or misrepresentation of our own or competitors’ products and services. All communications, proposals, and contract negotiations must be honest and transparent.

5. Competition Compliance

We compete fairly and in good faith. Any activity that distorts free competition is strictly prohibited and may result in legal and disciplinary consequences.

6. Confidentiality and Information Security

We protect sensitive information related to MercuryFlooring, our customers, suppliers, and partners. Information security is based on the principle of open access to non-classified data, while restricting access to confidential information to protect business interests and privacy. Confidentiality obligations continue even after employment ends.

7. Ethical Supply Chain

We expect our suppliers to adhere to the same ethical standards outlined in this policy. Employees must report any concerns about supplier conduct to their manager. The Code of Conduct is available on our website.

8. Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption

We do not offer or accept bribes or improper payments under any circumstances. Business is earned solely on the merits of our products and services. Improper payments include not only cash but also valuable items such as gifts or travel that could influence decision-making. Employees with doubts must consult their manager or HR.

9. Gifts and Entertainment

Only modest and occasional business courtesies are permitted. If in doubt, employees should consult their manager. Local units are encouraged to establish detailed local policies for offering and accepting gifts.

10. Anti-Money Laundering and Export Controls

We do not participate in money laundering or the financing of illegal, terrorist, or military activities. If an employee suspects a transaction involves suspicious funds, they must seek guidance from their manager or HR. The origin and purpose of funds must be verified before proceeding.
