Sales & Business Development Manager

As Sales & Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for selling our printed products, both through our online platform and in specific niche markets across Europe. You will start by building up your own customer portfolio and eventually take over existing customers. You will proactively think along to optimise this fast-growing market within MercuryFlooring and seize new opportunities.

Your responsibilities

  • You will sell our online personalisation platform for mats, carpets and niche markets.

  • You will build up your own customer portfolio and eventually take over existing relationships.

  • You think along about new market opportunities and commercial strategies.

  • You offer a smooth and customer-oriented service in case of questions or complaints.

  • You actively prospect and expand your customer base through cold calling.

  • You keep internal stakeholders informed about relevant trends and developments.

  • You form the link between customers and our internal departments.

  • You visit customers, organise showroom visits and participate in trade fairs.

  • You give demonstrations to help customers smoothly get started with the platform.

Requirements

  • You have at least two years' experience in sales and communicate fluently and professionally.

  • You sell with conviction and effortlessly give demos of our online platform in Dutch, English and French.

  • Knowledge of German is a plus.

  • You have a strong interest in the online market and closely follow digital trends.

  • You work in a structured and precise way.

  • You are a driven hunter who sees and seizes opportunities, and do not let yourself get easily sidetracked.
